Ex-E.ON chief executive to join Costain next month
Costain has picked the former chief executive of energy giant E.ON as its new chairman, joining from next month.
Paul Golby (pictured) will succeed David Allvey in the role from after Costain鈥檚 general meeting on 5 May.
Golby is also chairman of Nats Holdings, non-exec director at National Grid and a member of the prime minister鈥檚 Council for Science and Technology. During his career he has help managerial roles at a number of organisations including Dunlop and Clayhithe. He spent 13 years at E.ON, including nine as chief exec.
Golby commented: 鈥淚 am honoured to have been asked to join Costain as Chairman. It is a great British engineering success story with a strong heritage, outstanding brand and strong market positions.
