Contractors have until the end of February to register their interest
Renfrewshire Council has started the search for a contractor to carry out a £73m package of infrastructure works as part of a regeneration scheme.
The Scottish council is hunting for a contractor to carry out the design and construction of the main infrastructure works around the Clyde Waterfront and Renfrew Riverside (CWRR) project.
The contract involves the construction of an opening bridge over River Clyde (pictured), new roads, new and improved junctions, landscaping and drainage.
The works will also include a two-year operation and maintenance period.
The council is planning to invite three or four contractors to tender for the project, with firms having until 28 February to express their interest.
In the contract notice published to the Official Journal the council said the decision to shortlist contractors would be based 15% on project delivery, 20% on bridge and road design, 5% on BIM protocol and 15% on working in and around waterways.
Stakeholder liaison, operation and maintenance, staff and management capability and supply chain management will be the other deciding factors.
