Project includes 219 new and 174 refurbished homes
Hackney council has started the search for a contractor to build a £65m housing project in north London.
The council is looking for a principal contractor for phases three and four of the regeneration of Kings Crescent Estate in Stoke Newington.
The scheme consists of six new apartment buildings ranging from six to 11 storeys, delivering community space, commercial space, 219 new-build residential units and the refurbishment of 174 existing units.
The 219 homes are made including 28 for social rent, 75 for shared ownership, and 116 for outright sale.

Karakusevic Carson Architects, the practice behind the scheme, received planning for phases three and four in November last year.
The main construction contract for the latest phases is expected to run for three years.
Firms have until midday on 19 August to in the project.
Phases one and two of the project, which was also designed by Karakusevic Carson, was built by Higgins and finished in 2017.
Phases one and two won a RIBA London Award 2018 and a RIBA National Award 2018.
