Graham Construction, Bouygues and Balfour Beatty among those chosen for ten-year £250m framework to upgrade facilities
Graham Construction, Bouygues, Kier, Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall and ISG have been chosen for a £250m ten-year framework for Reading University.
The 10-year building works framework has been designed to deliver projects worth over £5m as part Reading University’s upgrade plan. The framework will include upgrading facilities on the university’s Whiteknights campus, a new science building and the refurbishment of the URS building by transforming the interior into an open-plan layout and remodelling the 1970s School of Architecture building which will also include the university’s construction management, art and graphics departments.
Graham Construction’s London office director Rob Joyce said: “Graham have a strong track record of working with universities across the country, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the University of Reading in the delivery of their capital works programme.
“It’s fantastic that the University of Reading is heavily investing in the creation of high-quality facilities for their students to give them the best head start in their careers. “
