Contract wins totalling £700m help offset weaker showing in industrial services division
Interserve announced £700m of contract wins during the first half of the year in its interim results for 2006.
In its statement to the Stock Exchange, the firm also announced deals with the Ministry of Defence for a Prime Contract in Cyprus, and a £60m facilities management deal with Croydon council.
The number of contract wins and Interserve’s strong performance in the Middle East offset the company’s weaker performance in their Industrial Services division.
The firm is in final talks to integrate MacLellan later in the month. Interserve bought the facilities management specialist in May for £118m.
