Previous deal extended because of covid
The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has started the procurement of its new 拢1.5bn consultancy framework after extending its previous version due to the covid-19 crisis.
The cross-government procurement arm is looking for construction professional services firms across multiple market sectors.
The four-year deal will replace the CCS鈥檚 previous project management and full design team services framework, which has been extended by six months until November due to the pandemic.
According to a published yesterday, the new framework will cover multi-discipline, project management services, architectural services, cost management services, civil and structural engineering services, building services engineering and environmental services.
The deal has been divided into six lots based on project type: built environment & general infrastructure, urban regeneration, international, high rise, defence, and environmental & sustainability technical services.
Firms from multiple disciplines will be appointed to each lot, which are worth between 拢75m and 拢577.5m respectively.
According to the contract notice, all firms looking to secure a place on the deal must have Cyber Essentials accreditation 鈥� a certification designed to provide a statement of the basic controls an organisation should have in place to mitigate the risk from common cyber threats.
Firms have until 20 April to register their interest.
