Aecom, Gleeds and Pick Everard team set to oversee design of new Enterprise Campus
A team featuring Pick Everard, Gleeds and Aecom have been appointed by the University of Bristol to design its new 拢300m Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus.
Called Perfect Circle, the three are carrying out the deal under Scape鈥檚 built environment consultancy framework.
The development will include academic teaching space and a student village that will accommodate 1,500 students, as well as a gym and health centre.
It will also be home to the world鈥檚 first open access Quantum Technologies Innovation Centre and include cycle paths, walkways, public spaces and cafes by the harbour.
The project team also includes architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and AHMM, engineering consultants Buro Happold and Arup and landscape architect Grant Associates.
Outline plans for the campus have already been submitted to the city council to show the scale of development and access routes.
Consultation on detailed design proposals is likely to follow later in the year.
Kier started enabling works to prepare the former Royal Mail sorting office, which will make way for the new campus, for demolition earlier this year.
