Consultant DBK Back has acquired Ipswich firm Utility Cost Management, which will enable it to provide utility management advice across the UK.
DBK expects to double the turnover of the division within the next 12 months. Utility Cost Management will operate under the trading name DBK Connect.
Tim Downing, managing director of DBK Back, said: 鈥淚t has always been our aim to keep the business fresh through strategic acquisitions.
鈥淲e are hungry to develop the business in new directions, as long as it positively impacts on our core delivery.鈥
DBK Back underwent a management buyout last year. Since then the business has grown to a value of more than 拢200m.
