Orders for the three months to October were up 8% compared to the same period last year

Construction orders rose 8% over the third quarter, according to new data from the government.

Figures from the Department of Trade & industry show that orders in the three months to October rose 8% compared to the same period last year. However orders over the period were down 6% on the previous quarter.

Orders for the 12 months to October also rose 8% compared to the previous year.
