Scheme is part of council plan to build 1,000 homes in city
Conran and Partners has been given planning for the next stage of a housing scheme in Brighton which will eventually see 1,000 homes built in the city for the council and housing association Hyde Group.
The pair are planning on building out the homes, which will be split between shared ownership and affordable rent, over the next five years under an initiative called Homes for Brighton.
The first phase of work is in the Coldean area of Brighton, a 242 homes plot designed by Hampshire practice HGP Architects.
The Conran scheme is smaller with 104 homes and will be built in the Portslade area of the city.
The council has said all the homes will be built for people living or working in the city.
