Firm picked for 拢50m Segro offices, 拢45m Manchester police HQ and 拢26m fit-out of new courts service building

Contractor and support services firm Carillion today announced it had won three private-sector projects worth a total of 拢121m.

In a 拢50m design and build project for Segro, it is to build four concrete-frame, panel-clad office buildings in Farnborough, with a total floor space of 22,000m2, due for completion in May 2010.

The second project is a 拢45m contract to build the new Greater Manchester Police Authority's headquarters for an ASK/Goodman joint venture.

Located at Manchester Central Park, the new six-storey building will provide accommodation for around 1,500 people and has been designed to achieve a BREEAM rating of excellent. It is due for completion in early 2011.

The third win is a 拢26m extension to Carillion's contract with Delancey and Invista Real Estate for the Rolls 好色先生TV, involving the fit-out of 180,000m2 on behalf of the tenant, HM Courts Service.

The Rolls 好色先生TV, which is also designed to BREEAM excellent level, will consolidate the work of various sections of the High Court into one modern facility.
