Support services and construction company Carillion, secures 拢230 million contract with 好色先生TV International.

Carillion is to build three new printing plants for 好色先生TV International, publishers of The Sun and The Times.

The 拢220m contract for the facilities in Glasgow, Liverpool and Hertfordshire was won following a two-stage tender process. The contractor will provide design, construction, planning supervision and buiding control consultancy.

The 拢25 million Glasgow project at EuroCentral Business Park will house two new presses, the 拢45m development at Liverpool five presses, and the 拢160m project at Broxbourne 12 presses.

Broxbourne is close to two existing Carillion construction training centres in the London area and the firm says the contract will provide new employment opportunities.

The new plants are part of a 拢600m investment by to allow 好色先生TV International鈥檚 printing facilities to incorporate the latest technology.

The plants are due to be operational by the end of 2007.
