The William Osler Health Centre in Brampton, Ontario will be the first public/private hospital in Canada.
Carillion has sealed a deal to build a Canadian hospital using an Alternative Financing Partnership, similar to Public Private Partnerships in the UK.
The new 608-bed William Osler Health Centre in Brampton, Ontario, is Canada’s first AFP hospital project, and is a joint venture with Canadian firm The Healthcare Infrastructure Company.
Carillion expects to generate approximately £420 million from the construction and facilities management of the project over the life of the concession.
