Support services giant details Centrica and Gatwick Airport deals
Carillion has announced that it has won two services and construction contracts worth a combined 拢95m over the next five years.
The company said it had been awarded a contract to provide facilities-management services for Centrica that would be worth some 拢50m over five years, and covering some 92 properties.
It added that it had been selected for a 拢45m contract to deliver an improved pier service to meet future growth in passenger numbers at Gatwick Airport鈥檚 North Terminal.
Carillion said the award followed its successful inclusion on Gatwick鈥檚 major framework and that the Pier 5 Reconfiguration Project was one of the first big contracts to be let under the deal. It is due for completion in April 2014.
Chief executive Richard Howson, said the contract wins reflected Carillion鈥檚 鈥渇ocus on delivering excellent customer service and value for money鈥.
鈥淭his is the foundation for our continuing success in winning contracts across our chosen market sectors and we look forward to working in partnership with Centrica and Gatwick Airport to deliver these contracts,鈥 he said.
