Contractor appointed preferred bidder by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust
Carillion has been selected as preferred bidder for a 拢200m support services contract for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The five-year contract covers the Queen鈥檚 Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital
Under the contract, Carillion will provide hard and soft services, including fabric maintenance, mechanical and electrical engineering, catering, cleaning, security, logistics, patient movements, waste management and the operation of the switchboard and helpdesk functions.
Peter Homa, chief executive of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, said: 鈥淐arillion has extensive experience of running estates and facilities services at other similar-size hospitals.
