Richard Adam takes finance position at the housebuilder
Countryside has appointed Carillion group finance director Richard Adam as a non-executive director.
He will chair the housebuilder鈥檚 audit committee and become a member of its remuneration committee.
In September, , which is chaired by Balfour Beatty鈥檚 executive chairman Steve Marshall. Both men had been involved in the failed merger talks between Balfour and Carillion last summer.
Adam was previously a non-executive director at healthcare company SSL International, best known for its Durex condoms.
His role at Countryside began on 1 April.
