Exclusive: Carillion has won a 拢47m batch of schools in the North-west of England
The contractor beat off competition from Bam Construct for the 拢47m North-west 1 batch of schools, the latest to come to market through the 拢400m first phase of the government鈥檚 flagship Priority School 好色先生TV Programme (PSBP).
The batch covers seven schools in the local authority areas of Blackpool, Cheshire West and Chester, Halton, Manchester and Tameside.
It is the first batch of schools won by Carillion through the first phase of the PSBP.
