Consultant cost and project manager on building in Glasgow
Consultant Capita Symonds’ Glasgow office has acted as cost and project manager on the Scottish Ballet’s brand new £11m headquarters in Glasgow, which has officially opened.
The new building, designed by Malcolm Fraser Architects, provides the company with a tailor made new home at the Tramway, a contemporary arts venue in Glasgow’s inner city.
There is also a dance studio for the West of Scotland’s independent professional dance groups.
A team have been working on the scheme since 2003. Construction work on the new building began in 2007.
The project has been delivered in partnership with Glasgow City Council, Scottish Enterprise Glasgow, the Scottish Government and the Scottish Arts Council (National Lottery Fund).
