Web site scoops top magazine award at the PPA awards while ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV's Adrian Barrick is named business publisher of the year

ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV triumphed at the magazine industry's equivalent of the oscars last night when it picked up two major honours.

Publisher Adrian Barrick was named business magazine publisher of the year at the PPA Awards, while ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV's web site picked up the top award in the online business magazine category.

The awards also saw ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV magazine shortlisted in the business magazine of the year category and Denise Chevin shortlisted as editor of the year. Reporter Emily Wright and technical editor Thomas Lane were shortlisted in the writer of the year category.

ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV's sister publication Property Week picked up the award for business magazine of the year and James Whitmore won writer of the year. Health and safety magazine SHP completed a successful night for ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV's parent company CMPi by winning the business magazine of the month. In total, CMPi won five of the eleven business awards up for grabs.
