Wates, Galliford Try and Lovell among framework winners

Public procurement specialist THC has handed out spots for two £600m housing frameworks covering Wales and the south-west of England.

Wates, Galliford Try and Lovell are among the 31 contractors to score places across the two frameworks.

The frameworks will allow social housing providers across the two regions to procure new build housing.

The South West framework will cover residential buildings including houses, bungalows, flats, apartments, sheltered accommodation, care homes, student accommodation and associated works including land purchase.

The Welsh framework will allow for the procurement of residential buildings including houses, apartments, multi-occupancy buildings and care homes.

Sixteen SMEs won spots across the two lots, with nine claiming places on the Welsh framework.

Seven smaller suppliers landed spots on the framework covering the Sourth West.
