Business subjects-focussed campus will be built near Temple Meads station
The University of Bristol has announced plans to develop a 拢300m city centre campus near Bristol Temple Meads train station.
The site picked is a former post office sorting office in the heart of regeneration area the Temple Quarter Enterpise Zone - which will also be home to the new Populous-designed Bristol Arena.
The new university campus will include a Digital Innovation Hub, a new business school, an enterprise centre and student flats. It is hoped it will open in time for the start of the 2021/22 academic year.
Business and energy secretary Greg Clark said: 鈥淥ur forthcoming Industrial Strategy is committed to creating highly skilled and versatile workforces in all areas of the UK.
