25-storey building designed by Pitman Tozer
Croydon council’s development arm Brick by Brick has been given planning for a 25-storey mixed-use tower that will be built on a former car park in the middle of the town.
The scheme will include close to 130 homes at the Wandle Road car park long with office, retail and leisure space.
The scheme is next to the Croydon Flyover and has been designed by Pitman Tozer, one of the architects on the developer’s architecture framework.
Half of the new homes will be designated affordable with 68 homes available for private rent or sale.
It is one of the developer’s biggest schemes being built under its portfolio with the 18 schemes currently on site in the borough.
Brick by Brick was established in 2016 to build more than 1,000 homes across the borough by 2019.
