Developer ZeroC has started work on 77 family homes on the island of Portland, Dorset
The project marks the next stage in the South West Regional Development Agency’s £40m regeneration of the former Royal Navy air station where it intends to create 1,400 jobs by 2016. The sale of the houses, designed by HTA Architects, will raise £500,000 towards improving nearby public realm, including a £200,000 skate park. The contractor is Acheson Construction.
