The latest wins follow the French-owned contractor鈥檚 appointment to build a new tower in Salford
Bouygues UK has picked up a trio of projects through Birmingham City council鈥檚 Constructing West Midlands framework.
The projects include a 拢10m public square in front of the city鈥檚 Mecanoo-designed library.
The Graeme Massie Architects-desinged Centenary Square project includes a water feature, 43 lighting columns each standing 25 metres tall and a new destination for the Midland Metro.
The contractor is also working on a 拢5.5m contract to refurbish the University of Birmingham鈥檚 current facilities at 52 Pritchatts Road to provide teaching space for the Psychology and Brain Dependency unit.
Elsewhere Birmingham City council has engaged Bouygues UK to replace the structural cladding on the Elms Farm Primary School in the Sheldon area of Birmingham.
The latest contract wins in Birmingham follow Bouygues UK being appointed to build a 拢35m 19-storey residential tower in Salford鈥檚 MediaCity earlier this month.
Bouygues UK鈥檚 chief operating officer Craig Tatton said: 鈥淏irmingham is currently undergoing significant regeneration and we are pleased to continue to be part of the major improvements going on across the city by delivering the public realm redevelopment at Centenary Square.鈥
