Firm due to release half year results next month
Steelwork contractor Billington has won two deals worth 拢14m, the company said.
The Barnsley-based firm, which is listed on the AIM stock exchange, said it had won a deal for a distribution centre in the south-west along with a second scheme for work at a London university.
Billington is due to release its interim results for the six months to June next month and the firm鈥檚 chief executive Mark Smith (pictured) said the recent wins will lead the group 鈥渢o a busy second half of the year鈥.
In its last set of full year results, the firm posted a 23% increase in pre-tax profit to 拢3.8m for 2016, up from 拢3.1m the previous year. Revenue was also up 11% to 拢63.3m from 拢57m.
