Berkeley Homes scooped two awards at ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV’s 2006 Sustainability awards.
The housebuilder received the accolades of sustainable housebuilder of the year and sustainable development of the year at Monday night’s ceremony at the Hilton hotel in London’s Park Lane, hosted by comedian Alistair McGowan.
Stephen Bell of Staffordshire council took the prize for sustainable champion of the year for cutting carbon emissions 44% since 1990.
The deadline for entries for the 2007 ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV awards, is Friday 15 December.
Categories include major contractor of the year, sponsored by Pinsent Masons, manufacturer of the year, sponsored by DHL, and the Wrap Award for sustainable construction. The awards will take place on 18 April 2007.
