Family-owned housebuilder set to develop its largest scheme to date
East Yorkshire-based housebuilder Beal Homes has submitted initial plans for the first phase of an 800-home scheme in Goole, East Yorkshire.
The total development will be worth £130m and Beal said the 800 homes would take 15 years to build.
Hessle-based and family-owned, Beal said it aimed to construct the initial units – a mix of 196 open-market properties and 10 affordable homes – on a chunk of the 73-acre site for which outline planning consent was given three years ago.
The firm will build a range of residential units, from starter homes to four-bedroom family houses on the site.
Submitting the reserved matters application, Beal’s chief executive Richard Beal said the Goole scheme would be the largest the company had undertaken.
Assuming planning is granted construction work will begin this summer, the firm said.
