Architect one of four big firms to be appointed to ongoing work framework
BDP, Purcell, Pick Everard and Capita have been appointed to the 拢43m framework for work on the Parliamentary estate.
Seven tenders were received, all from UK-based firms.
The four-year framework is for multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering design services involving 鈥渙n-going planned and reactive works to the buildings within the estate include building refurbishment, new build and maintenance projects鈥.
The weighting for the Ojeu-procured contract was 50:50 price and quality.
Nearly a year ago BDP beat Foster & Partners, HOK and Allies & Morrison to land the 拢4bn pound contract to refurbish the Palace of Westminster. BDP also has the lead design role on the 拢500m revamp of MPs鈥 offices in Westminster, known as the Northern Estate Programme.
