Contractor lands presitigious job to build museum designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma
Contractor Bam has been named as the preferred bidder to build the 拢45m V&A Museum of Design in Dundee.
The appointment still needs to be signed off by the city council鈥檚 policy and resources committee on Monday evening.
Douglas Keillor, regional director for Bam Construction in Scotland, said it was 鈥済reat to hear鈥 the firm had been recommended to build the 鈥減roject of international significance鈥.
Philip Long, director of V&A Dundee, said: 鈥淏am Construction has an excellent track record in the delivery of prestigious cultural projects in Scotland.
He added: 鈥淲e are all delighted to see this next chapter in our story begin.鈥
