Canadian firm has turnover of 拢26m and over 300 staff
Balfour Beatty has bought Canadian professional services firm Halsall Group for C$53m (拢33m) cash.
Halsall provides design and engineering services to the building market, with particular emphasis on sustainable design and restoration. It also provides structural engineering services to clients in the transportation market.
It has seven offices in Canada and over 300 staff, generating turnover of C$46m (拢26m) in 2009.
