Iain Ferguson will become non-executive director from 1 January
Balfour Beatty has appointed the former chief executive of multinational Tate & Lyle to sit on its board. Iain Ferguson, who also spent 26 years at Unilever, will become a non-executive director from 1 January.
He is currently a non-executive director of Greggs PLC and is chair of Wilton Park, an independent agency of the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Steve Marshall, Balfour Beatty chair, said: "Iain's extensive international operational experience and his strategic insight gained over several years, more latterly in his capacity as the chief executive of a global business, will make a significant contribution to our growth in the coming years."
