The practice recently reshuffled its board as part of a plan to combine its 11 offices across Europe into one, more focused company.
Managing director Andrew Lett, soon to become chairman, said he hoped the company could change the City鈥檚 poor view of architects.

Aukett has increased its workload in growth sectors such as information technology and telecoms, doing repeat work for clients such as BT, One-2-One and Sun Microsystems.
It has also just designed a 拢2.3m computerised library for Surrey Institute of Art & Design in Epsom (above). Aukett carried out the design, structural and services engineering and landscape design, with Everiss Partnership as quantity surveyor. The 2000 m2 brick-clad building complements the 1960s buildings on the campus and is naturally ventilated.
