Architect Aukett Fitzroy Robinson wins its eigth project in Russia with a £65m mixed-use scheme in Moscow
Aukett Fitzroy Robinson has won a contract in Russia for a £65m mixed-used project.
The 65,000 sq m scheme, which is situated in Kursky Square, Moscow, comprises a four-star hotel and offices with basement car parking. It is the listed architect’s eighth project win in Russia.
Aukett will be working for client ZAO Kurskaya ploschad, a private limited company set up to develop the project and Avenue Group, a development arm of Russia company Inteca Group. Completion is expected in 2009.
Aukett said Russia was outperforming its expectations. Other recent appointments in Moscow include:
- 78,500 sq m multi-use complex on a 2.4 hectares site in Leningradskii prospekt, for client Alcon Development worth £64m
- 80,000 sq m HQ development in the Selikatnii Petreulok area of Moscow, with a contract value of £72m
- Next stage of the Olympiiskii development in Moscow, a 79,500 sq m office and hotel and mixed-use project for client Kuznetskii Most Development with a value of £72m.
