Firm to advise on schemes including work on M11 and A1
Atkins has landed a £30.5m job helping Highways England to prepare designs for capital projects.
The consultant saw off four rivals for the job, which will see it imput on areas including structures, landscaping, environmental issues, drainage and traffic modelling.
The work will relate to delivery of new roads across the east of England, including the A1, A12 and M11.
Although the contract is for a 36 month period, Highways England has the option to extend it by up to two years.
