Acqusition of Kent-based Cathedral Contracts will double the size of ISG's retail fit-out operation

Interior Services Group has acquired fit-out specialist Cathedral Contracts for 拢11.8m.

Cathedral, which specialises in retail fit-out, will double the size of ISG鈥檚 retail operation. The Whitstable-based company鈥檚 senior management team will remain in place.

David Lawther, chief executive of ISG, said: 鈥淥ur strategy remains to increase the scale of the group through both organic growth and selective acquisitions. We remain committed to widening the range of services that we can offer clients, whilst diversifying and growing our income streams.鈥�

For the year ended June 2006, Cathedral Contracts reported an operating profit of 拢1.7m on a turnover of 拢40m.
