Consultants add extra floor to their Cardiff office

Arup is expanding its Welsh operation with a 拢750,000 extension to its Cardiff building.

The office is one of Arup鈥檚 largest in Europe with 280 employees, and the firm is adding a further 4,000 sq ft of office space to its existing 30,000 sq ft site.

The Cardiff Waterside office extension will be handled by developer Morley Fund Management.

Arup鈥檚 Welsh office has supplied engineering services for the Wales Millennium Centre, building services design for the Millennium Stadium and the refurbishment of the University Hospital of Wales.

John Lovell, senior partner of Arup鈥檚 Cardiff office, said: 鈥淥ur building suits our requirements perfectly and we are very keen to stay, so we are delighted that Morley has agreed to build a further floor.鈥�
