Architect triumphs at annual British Council for School Environments ceremony
Architype was named the School Architect of the Year at Wednesday鈥檚 BCSE awards. The firm was announced as the winner at the central London ceremony, along with scooping first prize for Best Special Educational Needs School and Best Independent School.
Ty Goddard, the director and judge of the British Council for School Environment awards, commented on Architype鈥檚 win, saying the practice 鈥渄emonstrates, in their approach to school design, the kind of excellence we hope to achieve across the industry.鈥
Other winners include Atkins, who received the award for Sustainable School of the Year for Northwood Primary, and Neilcott Construction took first prize for School Contractor of the Year.
