Architect specifies three different shades of copper cladding that will weather at different rates
This new residential development in Prague designed by Atelier KAAMA features three floating rhomboidal masses clad in copper panels.
The copper cladding has been provided by Luvata and uses a random combination of three different shades of brown which represent different stages in the natural patination of copper that occurs over time in the external environment.
The weathering will continue in coming months and years but at a different rate for each shade, adding an animated dimension to the building.
