British architect Andy Fisher Workshop has designed a 26ha masterplan to rejuvenate Port Louis, the capital city of Mauritius
Named Neotown Port Louis, the plan is to reconnect the city to the waterfront and encourage further development. Fisher’s masterplan has a total built area of about 930,000m2 including business, residential and retail precincts and a tourist heritage centre. The project will require foreign investment of $500m (£325m).
