Amec acquires French nuclear technical services company CIME for £5.8m.
Support services group Amec has continued its nuclear growth by acquiring a French nuclear technical services company for an undisclosed sum.
Amec has acquired Compagnie Industrielle de Montage et d'Entretien SA, which generated turnover of £5.8m in the financial year ending 30 June 2005 and has net assets of £475,000
The CIME SA acquisition extends Amec’s nuclear services capability in France and follows the company’s strategy of expanding its European Multitechnical Services business through acquisitions.
This deal follows the acquisition of French electrical installations group Javalet in September and 49% of nuclear engineering company Game Nucleaire SAS in April.
