Four year old consultant eyeing 拢11.5m revenue this year

Alinea has increased its 14-strong partnership by six after another year of strong growth.

Iain Parker, founding partner at Alinea, said the internal promotions were 鈥渞ecognition of the growth potential鈥 of the business and the creation of a 鈥渓eadership team focused on future generations鈥.

Those promoted to partner are Alex Hyams, Gordon Graham, Hamish Summers, Mark Day, Richard Jackson and Rob Butler.

The consultant told 好色先生TV in June that it was targeting a turnover of 拢11.5m for the company鈥檚 current financial year 鈥 its fifth in operation 鈥 having posted a 28% jump in turnover to 拢10.5m over the year to May 2017, up from 拢8.2m.

Founded in 2013 by six former Davis Langdon and EC Harris partners, Alinea is also aiming to branch out overseas within the next five years.

The firm鈥檚 current projects include the 拢1.4bn revamp of Brent Cross shopping centre by Hammerson and Standard Life, the expansion of the British Library鈥檚 Kings Cross campus, which is being designed by Richard Rogers鈥 practice, and the regeneration of 62 acres at Silvertown in east London.

Alinea is also working on a clutch of towers in London鈥檚 Square Mile, including Lipton Rogers鈥 mammoth skyscraper, 22 Bishopsgate, being built by Multiplex, Mitsubishi Estate鈥檚 plans for 6-8 Bishopsgate and Singaporean investor UOL Group鈥檚 hotel tower at 150 Bishopsgate where Lendlease is believed to be carrying out work.
