Engineering group buys 700-strong Hunt Construction Group

Aecom has bought 700-strong US contractor Hunt Construction Group to become 鈥渙ne of the largest US builders鈥�.

Hunt is a $1.2bn-turnover (拢710m) business with nine offices in the US.

Michael Burke, Aecom president and chief executive, said: 鈥淭he addition of Hunt鈥檚 people and resources immediately makes Aecom one of the largest U.S. builders.
