Mouchel has agreed a 拢4.5m contract extension with Lincolnshire County Council to provide highways and transportation professional engineering services.
It is the fifth time the deal has been extended since the consultant was first appointed in April 2010, and takes the contract up to March 2020.
Mouchel will provide highways, transportation, transport planning, environment, drainage and geotechnical services.
The firm said its collaboration with the local authority has secured more than 拢70m in external funding since the start of the contract, while its relationship with delivery partners Kier and traffic consultant Dynniq has helped the council achieve 鈥楤and 3鈥 status under the Department for Transport鈥檚 self-assessment process.
This makes the council eligible to receive its full share of the government鈥檚 Local Highways Maintenance Incentive Fund.
Charles Ferrar, regional director at Mouchel said: 鈥淭his award underlines our ability to form effective long term collaborative relationships with local authorities.
鈥淥ver the past seven years we have succeeded in delivering year on year continuous improvement and our whole team have consistently tried to focus on the needs of Lincolnshire.鈥
Mouchel will be changing its name to WSP in July 2017, after being acquired by global consultancy last October.
