Design by Make includes a 50m high LED shroud
Developers London and Bath Estates and Galliard Homes have received permission to build the 鈥極ctopus鈥 building at Chiswick Roundabout in London, costing over 拢25m.
The design by architects Make includes a 50m tall LED shroud that will show advertising and public art.
The building will comprise 5,000m2 of office space, with a retail section at ground level and a roof-top garden.
Kim Gottlieb, managing director at London and Bath Estates said: 鈥淲hen one of the councillors said 鈥榠t鈥檚 bold, it鈥檚 brash, it鈥檚 in your face鈥 I thought thank goodness someone鈥檚 got it. This is meant to be a 24 hour, modern, vibrant, top three world capital city. Let鈥檚 give it the architecture it deserves.鈥
