This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Martin Douglas, associate director at Pad Design. He says: “Bath’s Victoria Art Gallery faces the Pulteney Bridge – which, lined with shops on both sides and sitting across the River Avon, is one of the city’s most famous landmarks. The limestone building is listed grade II* and was opened in 1900 to celebrate Queen Victoria’s diamond jubilee. Its prominent corner location and entrance are emphasised by the architectural treatment, including a small dome.
