This week鈥檚 #buildingdoodle is by Wesley Baker, architectural assistant at tp bennett and is of the Forton Services, near Lancaster, which the practice designed and which was built in 1964.
He says: 鈥楩orton Services is most famous for its hexagonal, concrete Pennine Tower and was once 鈥榯he place to go鈥� with a glamorous service station restaurant, rumoured to have been a favourite of The Beatles.鈥�
