Hilson Moran is to provide environmental consultancy to the Horizons Tower, Paris.
The appointment covers environmental modeling and renewable energy assessments of the 19-story office building, which will include energy and sustainability performance, lighting efficiency and comfort calculations.
The project is part of the 45 ha Rives de Seine regeneration scheme led by Hines France, and the design, by Pritzker Prizewinning architect Jean Nouvel, has just received planning approval.
The building is due for completion in 2010 and is targeted to achieve compliance to national HQE certification standards, which requires that the scheme demonstrate an improvement in energy consumption of at least 10% over and above RT2005 French ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV Regulation minimum requirements.
