TI Dynamic Facades has launched sandstone and limestone options for its Aerolite range of facades.
While traditional cladding techniques require a stone facing to be approximately 40mm thick, Aerolite allows slices ranging between 6mm and 15mm, to be used. System strength is achieved by bonding the stone to a glass fibre, aluminium or aluminium honeycomb reinforced backing.
Used in conjunction with a vertical carrier from the TI Tracking range, Aerolite can be installed as either a rainscreen or closed-joint facade.
The panels can be produced in a wide range of sizes and polished, honed, sanded, flamed, sawn and bush hammered finishes are available.
