This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Sarah Collingwood
This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Sarah Collingwood, an architect at Robin Partington & Partners. The sketch is part of the The King’s Library in the Chelsea area of London. The project was the conversion and extension of the grade II-listed former school, built in 1908, into 18 apartments.
The King’s Hall (pictured) is a four bedroom residence within the building arranged around a open-plan living space that inhabits the double height former assembly hall. This concept sketch shows the connecting floating reception space within the middle of the hall.
