Roycroft says: 鈥淐onversational sketching is still a skill that is important for an engineer. Recently I had the pleasure of looking at a Marc Brunel diary and simple but effective sketches jump out and describe complex engineering principles in a timeless and effective diagrammatic language that a page of words would struggle to convey.鈥�
